ok, so i have an 01 gts 6 speed, and i cant chirp em in 2nd. i have a CAI, blitz clutch and flywheel, and shortshifter. and yes i know how to drive. ive been hearing a lot about the liftbolts, just wondering if that could simply be what it is. the Intake gets really loud when in lift and you can feel it push you back, so i dont know if they would be broken or not. i would like to replace them anyhow so if someone could tell me where to get them that would be appreciated. and also if there not broken, is replaceing them as simple as taking off the valve cover, unscrewing the old ones, and puting the new ones in, or is there more involved? thank you for any input

depends on how broken they are...and as far as the replacement...yeah its about that simple...I drive a GT, but read the replacement guide, and it seemed really easy...

ive chirped in second only once in about 2 years. chirping mean loss of traction, therefor loss of acceleration. i dont see the point.

why do you want to chirp your tires?

All it means is that you are loosing traction, or don't know how to drive because you dumped the clutch out too fast.

replacing the lift bolts is easy, if they are broke, it's going to be hell

Yea, my friend who drives a civic called my car slow. Sine he driven on of the GT's and could not chirp. I do belive the GT can chirp I havnt tried yet but i think you can. I though chriping meant you had the perfect shift?

your tires are probably gripping good. so why have the need to chirp? also, does your lift kick in? if so, your lift is fine; but if you want to change it. use the search function.

there's a bunch about liftbolts and how to replace.

Some tire compounds don't make noise like others do, as well. Sometimes you can be spinning without hearing it.
