This Install Guide looks pretty good and the pictures are nice. I'm relatively new to this type of stuff and was wondering if I should attempt to install this by myself with just this guide.

Has anyone used this guide? Experiences?

intakes are rather easy to install--you can use the guide and you should be fine. if you have any additional questions during installation you can always post them up as well.

also, your Intake will come with instructions of it's own in different wording/pictures. i found it good to use both guides (the ecelica guide and the manufacturer's guide) when i installed my b&m shortshifter because it gave you 2 different views of certain areas thumbsup

I've read some posts about people installing Intakes and they installed it wrong so stuff got sucked into the engine frown Is this likely to happen with a SRI installation.

Also, what does a heat shield do?
