i'm back to looking for a Intake for my 2003 Toyota Celica GTS i had one on their from ebay (no name) and it threw a CEL and my car ran like shit i had that fixed then i just went to my friends shop and the guy their looked under my hood and looked at my throttle body and noticed that i have an Electronic Throttle (which mean no cable) he was like i never seen any thing like that and that, that might be the problem and he told me to call up Rodney Millan and get specs on their Intake and if they tested it with the Electronic Throttle someone tell me WTF to do?

there are many celicas on here with electronic throttles that have Intakes and don't throw a CEL--it shouldnt make a difference.

CELS in general are sometimes throw a CEL because the hoses aren't connected properly or if your Intake just has bad engineering.

get injen or rmm and you should have a problem. if you have a cel with these...every case i've seen is because hoses werent connected properly. thumbsup

you should have instructions, but if not then look at the installs section. wink

look at it this way when buying something for your car. If it fucks up, and damages your car, 1. Your nice celi is fucked, 2. If you don't know how to fix it it costs a lot of $$, 3. Could get in an accident. All of these things cost money. In the long run, you could've just bought the more expensive reliable thing. Just stick with shit that's dependable and gauranteed would you frame a house in rotting wood or sticks you found in the woods? Then why let your engine run on shit?

As far as hooking the hoses up. The installs section has a a whole thing about it. As was pointed out previously. Good luck with it.
