So, I noticed that everytime I park my Celi...a small pool of water drips and pools under my engine on the ground...I've see this happen when running the AC...but I never use my AC...

Is this normal?

Yah I was about to mention its due to condensation when running the AC but you said you don't run it and still get it... confused

some problem here... its usually a huge puddle though

next time after a long drive, open your hood and stand by the passenger side fender and lean over the engine to look just between the headers and the firewall. You will see a rubber hose that is not connected to anything... shake your car a bit and now you will see water/condensation coming from that hose

this is the only place where that puddle should be coming from grin
(unless you car leaves more than just a puddle of water, but also a "present" you don't want to step in)

As long as it's water, then you are fine. Happens during the summer a lot, even when you aren't using your AC. Just dip your finger in it and make sure that it's always water though.

What Isaac said is right.

It's just condensation being released from that tube. thumbsup

I've talked to several Celica owners and they didn't even know that even though you don't press the AC button that the AC is still on if you have it set to "windshield" or "windshield and feet".

Just worth mentioning in case you didn't know that. wave

yeah. If you sit there with radio off if you leave the fan on and switch between upper vent to feet or windshield you can hear and feel the fans come on etc.. You must notice the car feel a little more "pussy" too don't you? I notice it for sure when I turn it on, I try not to use it thumbsup

Glad to help

windsheild and windsheild and feet is using yoru defrosters.

you defrosters use teh a/c to rermove the humidity in the car. whether it is on or not the a/c is being used.turn it to dash and yoru puddle should go away.
