anyone think that porting and polishing the head, valves, and all that good stuff, is a worthwhile mod? I found a place to do it but they charge $350 for polishing and putting back together the parts, and thats hook up price, I guess. I just dont know of its worth the power gain for my natrually aspired veichle. Oh yeah its the 2ZZ-GE motor. Argee? Not agree? common guys I need feedback. Thanks Low B gruppie

the thing is... any shop with a grinder can mill your head valves. The problem lies in the flow test. The mil shop has to be able to prove that the milling they did to the head creates an EVEN flow of air throughout the intake manifold.

you also might loose low end torque. I know many V6/V8's do this and get big numbers out of it. That doesn't mean that a little 4 cylinder engine will though. I know theres a big discussion about this on www.newcelica.org [ newcelica.org] check it out!
