I have now exhausted two options for lugs with my wheels. I bought these rims (Racing Hart C2 Evolution) used and am now beginning to think that I should have asked the seller for the lugnuts because nothing seems to work for me.

First I bought lugs that were too long and wouldnt allow the center rings (lug covers) to go over top. When I put it on it wasnt flush with the wheel.

I went back and got open ended lugs which solve that problem. Now my problem is that they are impossible to torque down. I cant get anything to grab the lugnut because its not exposed enough (only the very end of the lug juts out from the bolt hole even when only hand tightened) No sockets will get enough bite on it to actually drive it.

Its a shot in the dark but Im hoping someone out there in EC land will know what it is I have to do to complete my now 2 month long rim project. Even if anyone knows how I can contact racing hart to ask them (www.racinghart.com [racinghart.com] is useless apparently?? takes me to dazz motorsport)

thanks for your time reading the above novel and any suggestions you have to get me out of lugnut hell.

I had the same problem with my 19" axis se7en mods. I had to use socket style lugs and cut them down with a band saw to allow the center cap to clear. There was no room for a socket on that wheel (custom drilled)

I got 20x9 axis se7en mods this year and when axis had them filled and drilled for me they gave me room to use a socket so I could short acorn style lug nuts.
