well i got my hotckis street sways installed last weekend and i all i have to say is ...wow. i used to have a trd rear strut bar/trd strut and springs/apr front strut bar combo and that was great. then after i got my gts i stuck with the trd struts and trd rear strut bar as i sold my front strut bar and springs.i wasn't too happy as there was a lot of roll and i couldn't take corners like i used to. ithe ride didn't seem stable anymore. after getting the hotckis sway bar there is litterally almost no-roll!!and the car is responsive as hall...more so than by previous suspension set up.i got the sways for 200 even but you can get them for 250 shipped. i set the front bar at soft leaving the car at 45% stiffer than oem on fron t at 88% stiffer than oem on the rear.at first i was afraid of oversteer...but the car handled beautifully. so good and amazed i was that i spent the whole day driving up and down curvy roads.THIS IS DEFINATLEY THE BEST MOD DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR...and i suggest you guys get them.

do i have any bad things to say about it? actually there is. install seemed to take forveer. the guy who gave me the sways did most of the installation and with the two of us it took nearly 4 hours.that fron sway bar is a bitch. then of course the expeted trade off...with any stiffer suspension you get great handling, control, and cornering ability taking your car a step closer to getting that go-kart feel...but with any suspension mod...ride conmoft is sacraficed. and let me tell you, as stiff as the sways were and with the shit roads i have in van nuys...i was bouncing around like there was no- manana...lol. ironically when the road is smooth the ride feels smoother...weird. of course if there are any imperfections on the road..YOU WILL KNOW IT.lol rofl

maybe i should have opted to get trd sways which are known to be be much softer at 20% stiffer up fron to 50% stiffer on the rear. but i dunno if i could settle for less than what my hotchkis can do. there are definately the best mod i have on my car. just to give you an idea...there is a section of sepulveda pass i usually go at 45mph (any faster i would start to veer off)at the corners...with the sways i was doing 60...easy...it was if my car was begging to go faster and i have no doubt that it could.

thumbsupagain...if you guys have 200 bucks laying around...swaybars,swaybars,swaybars!!! rofl

TRD sway bars are 28% stiffer upfront & 58-68% stiffer in the rear grin

Sway bars are a must have if you want great handleling, so 'grats on the sway bars. Did you guys try to slide the front sway bar over the craddle? My dealer did that & it only took them 90 mins to install.

yup..save up for kyb agx's (360) and hotchkis sways (250) and with the current set up you have now you'll be taking corners like you wouldn't believe. you'll just keep filling up with gas because it's just uber fun to drive the car...that's practically what i did when i got them installed..just drove,drove,drove...love this mod. can't say enough!!! thumbsup

I just had some tein springs and that was it. iced that it was easier to turn and it did handle somewhat better, but not that much. The thing is though i never cornered that hard until i got a somplete suspension upgrade.

ToyoGobo on ebay sells the TRD sway bars for $330 shipped. Since they're in NC, it would probably take a couple of days to get to Philly.
