Okay so today i bought a clay bar but i dont think i am using it right lol. Is it supposed to slide real easy? It came with a lube so I sprayed a lil on and it just glides all over the place. But when i didnt use a lot of lube it wouldnt slide at all. Is it supposed to be like this or any tips.

need lube and when you actually go over the paint, if it's contaminated, you will feel it and will feel it a little rough...depends how bad the paint got.

Here is a link that has application instructions for Zanio's clay bar, they should be similar for your clay bar:

did you buy the mothers stuff? the bar and the lube, that came with a little wax too?? i tired it on my spoiler and worked well, but i wasnt sure if i was doing it right, so just gave up... maybe some more details would help... billy dont you detail at your dads toyota? help us out a little more... are there any consequences if you do it wrong? and how many times should you roll the clay into its self before it goes bad, or per cleaning how many times should you roll the clay ("to have clean clay")
