okay so i go to Pep boys and say i want to buy a Optima battery and so they look on the computer, they have the battery but they said that they cannont install it on my car since there is no listing for it. They said that the stock mounting is not able to occupy the optima battery? any comments, pls add, it would be greatly appreciated.

It will fit but yo have to mod the battery tray at the bottom. I didnt and it still fits fine though. It hangs a lil over the edge. But the tie down is still fine. You need the 34/78 i believe is what it is.

yes - get the 34/78... check my profile for pics of the Optima Yellow. (I trimmed the plastic tray under the battery so that it would sit evenly...)

don't forget about issues with a strut bar if you have one.

there are no issues i have the APR strut and 34/78 battery. The only problem i had was the battery was to low to use the APR battery tie-down anymore.
