Just some Q's about the AEM Bypass Valve. Does it work for the Injen CAI?? or does Injen make one?? Is it really worth it if I live in LA (valley area)? How hard is it to install? Will it take away from my CAI's performance in anyway?? Thank you in advance for all replies.

the AEM bypass valve will only fit the aem cold ait intake due to width and such, i dont belive injen makes one for theres and it realy isnt neccessary for you but it couldnt hurt because there is no performance loss that is in anyway noticable

yes, the aem bypass only fits the aem cai. if you are worried, order a splash guard from injen to guard ur filter and tape ur wheel well (there are slots in the plastic wheel well area).
hope this helps

But won't taping up the wheel well holes or getting the splash guard take away from my CAI's performance?? Performance is my main concern, because I live in LA and it doesnt' rain much, and I've heard that you only have a problem when the water level reaches up to your CAI, and that's pretty high for me.
