Its been like two months since I have received Andy's overlays for the Celica. Last month I applied them and they look frickin great/awesome. I decided to not apply the vinyl on the lowbeam dome because I had a hard time with it, but it still looks great anyways - a real head turner and eye catcher!

damn your fast, Omar. I really appreciate the offer of help, it's just that I had a hard time with one of the lowbeam vinyls that I messed it up, so I'm gonna ask Andy if I can just order a new pair of the lowbeam vinyls.

I really like that look. Did you apply the entire vinly piece then use something to cut out the portion above the low beam? I painted my headlights but because my lenses are so scratched it doesn't look at great as other people's so I was thinking of getting some BATS to go ahead and smoke them.

expinch - Blue BATmobile's h5 Smoked Headlight Overlay kit comes in several pieces, like a puzzle, that you put on the headlight. the piece that you are referring to as having to be "the cut out portion above the lowbeam" is a piece of the puzzle that I did not put in. (i wonder if you can understand what I'm saying spineyes)

It takes time to do it, but it has a great and rewarding outcome. BAT includes instructions on how and what you need to use to install his kits.

i am suprised people are still having trouble with that particular piece. i dunno why andy is shipping them ,i am assuming in one piece, i got that particular piece in question in 2 separate pieces so it was really easy to put on.

andy maybe you should start shipping them again in 2 pieces it would be easier for people who order them or just reprint the instruction and add that you can cut it in half for easy install. i dunno just a suggestion but this is about the 10th person that had trouble with that part thumbsup

btw zero good job thumbsup

See why the kit comes in multi pieces? People have probs with the 1 piece top Overlay, then other people say, why multi pieces? I could've done a kit with few pieces, but my goal was to make it easy on the average joe to apply them wink

There are fewer pieces than before. On the lid, it's one piece rather than 2. You can always cut it in half when you get it thumbsup

I want close ups, clear ones, your pics are blurry.

I need to see how the parts that overlap look. I want one of Andys smoke kits but the fact that he does them in a few parts worries me, rather have one part so there are no darker spots where they overlap.

Can you make the kits in one part Andy?

none of the vinyl overlaps. thats why you use an x-acto (or anything like it) to trim the overlapping parts thumbsup spineyes

hmm, i did not make sense in the post above.
there are going to be some overlapping parts but use a pen-knife to cut them off.

what do you think of my altezza tails? they were originally gunmetal in color, but i tinted them. so now they look black when you are looking at them from straight behind, but has a darker gunmetal look when seen from the sides.

BTW, i know altezzas are rice. but i wont get rid of them. i like them. i tried selling them to get me some black TYCs but decided to tint them black.

dude, sell ur wing, sell ur tails, pur ur stock wing back on and get rims and a drop it ... doing all these small mods is making ur car look rice.. IMO I started like that too but came to my senses... seriously, you need to either get that wing painted or take it off... wave

It looks like a TRD wing or a replica, and those aren't rice, but I do agree that the tail lights are.

If I were you, I'd just keep a shaved wing. Looks very nice and clean. If you can, get your stock tails and smoke the crap out of them. Then, when you get "rims," I'd get something black with a polished lip, REV maybe.

thanks for the tips, guys. thumbsup

as for the wing, yes i should take it off until it gets painted.

i redded-out my stock tails and plan on keeping them that way, because i like to switch between the two once in a while.

and as for the rims, i've chosen the Exel DL46. they look fuggin awesome.
