Depends on how well you can shift.

You will have no problems, if you miss shift with a B&M then your a poor driver. With a B&M its either in gear or not, almost no play in the stick.

It depends what year you have folks. 02 GTS has wider shift gates. I got the b&m and although it's tighter than stock it's harder to shift b/c of the wider shift gates. I actually shift better with stock despite the shorter throw. And anyone who spends time riding with me will not question my driving skill. I'm not sure if the 02 GT is the same as the 02 GTS, but if it is you'll run into the same problem I did. I am looking to convert my shift gates to anything but 02, if I can.

I have a 03 gts without a B&M and there doesn't seem to be much play . I drove a Eclipse with a B&M it was a lot of fun.

I already have the MT-90. it's just not too tight with her slots being so loose and my stick so short, ya know what I mean? suks... 02 GTS specs...that's the problem.
