Has anyone put a speaker on the outside of there car? I want to see if it is possible and where possible mounting points are. I wanna piss off our neighbors they always call the police for everything so I wanna drive by there house at 2 with the radio up. So any comments will be appreciated.
You have to admit it would be cool. You mean that there isn't a tiny little bit of you that would like to put a speaker on the outside and rock out everyone. You could roll up to pedestrians and blow them away. Play play rap music next to a school bus or roll up to McDonalds and play it in their parking lot or even better through the drive through.
hahaha, i've acutally thought about doing that, but it seems that when i have the windows down and sunroof up, the music is really audiable to the surroundings, so maybe you could just get an amp or some after market speakers and just blare em...also, if you open the doors so the door panel speakers are no longer bouncing inside your car it gets even louder.
sure...first you remove you passenger seat, replace it with a hydrolic piston to push your 15" concert box up through the sunroof. then simply pivot the speaker in the direction of your choosing and crank it up...sounds like a job for monster garage...
Well what areas do you have the possiblity for the application? do you want to mod the Shyte out? with stero equipment or just something for once in a while mobile concert station type stuff? Well you could A mount a speaker on the front of the car (unless you rear end a lot of people) hook it right up the plate holder or front bumper and wire it up through the engine bay. You could also make a mount from some rubber(no condoms) and place a speaker set on your roof connected to the sunroof (however you cannot close it easily (depending on the mounting) all the wiring would require quilck or easy release plugs.
Before you do this please buy yourself a honda or a cadillac. Shit like this is going to make people hate celica's... Oh yea, dont come back here whining after your neighbors f*** up your car for "pissing them off because they always call the cops"
BTW. If you do this I hope you get a biiiggg fat ticket for noise violations!
