When I painted it on, I was surprised that it was sort of a baby blue. But after looking at it, I thought it goes better with the silver. Let me know what you guys think! thumbsup

I still have yet to do the back ones, I might do those today.

you should take it apart and remove the paint from the anti-squeal shim thumbsup

not really, but, if you are going to do it, you may want to think about getting some new rotors (if you take the caliper off, the rotor is just one more 3 minute step) thumbsup

looks nice, but in order for it too flow better you would have to have more baby blue stuff done. did you take the wheel off and tape of the rotor and spray? i was just thinking about using a paint brush and spraying the paint onto like a piece of plastic or something and using the brush to put it on the rotor, i dont know how nice it will come out, but it should keep it from getting all over, not to mention i wont have to tape stuff off.

I sprayed it, but when I do the back ones, I'm deff gunna use a brush. With the spray it got every where cause of the wind. I had to use a buttload of paper, rediculous. I think using a brush would be a lot easier.

I'm still kind of iffy on the baby blue ever since it came out of the can and onto the calipers. But it was the ONLY 900 degree paint pep boys had. If I decide to repaint them, where would I be able to get other blue colors?

try the G2 paint system... it's expensive but looks good and will last. I chose red, however the blue from their website looks much darker than yours...

Alright, I bought a new blue and its darker than that. I decided I didnt like the one I did, because it's deffinatly baby blue lol. It looks different in certian light, but for the most part... its baby blue... and baby blue... is NOT for me. So I'm going right now to repaint them, wish me luck! thumbsup

caligts - nah my brakes are fine. and I made sure to mask off EVERYTHING (im a perfectionist lol) so nothing got anywhere. Except the anti squeal shim, I figure I can scrape it off when I'm done re painting them wink

Gachinto - It's VERY easy, takes a little bit of time though. If you have more than one jack you can go to another caliper while the other ones are drying. If you do it that way, it's even faster. Most of it is just waiting though.

Like right now, I'm waiting for the first coat of the new color to dry. It siad 20 min, so here I am twitling my thumbs lol

The new color is kinda dark now. I even tried mixing the baby blue and the regular blue together (in a cup) to see what would happen, it curddled or something. We'll see how it turns out, and if I'm going to repaint them ... AGIAN. lol

Nice job on the paint, but I agree with everyone else about the blue, either go with a darker blue or go black, Cant wait to see the new pics though! thumbsup

It's a metallic and aqua looking type thing in the middle of the front calipers. I dont think it would make too much of a difference if you did paint them. I didn't mean too, but I'm just going to let time take it off. It peels off really easy.

I cleaned it off more (because I was driving around with it all day like that) and then just painted over them.
