Just installed a Greddy Evolution II in my 2k GTS

Its a lil quieter then Expected, Didnt sound like there was any leaks, but there is a faint burning paper smell coming out of the exaust After I dive it for a few minutes... This normal?

never smelt it before.

welcome but i think its ok. im really not sure. because the first day i had my trsm on, it had a weird burnin smell. i think its the new coating on the exhaust that is being burned. i think the smell is gonna go away soon.

I just remembered I had used some WD40 to help slide the hangers in and loosen the bolts. Might be that burning out too.

Thanks Been reading the forums and using the install guides for almost a year now just never posted smile

Thanks a lot OBi3

My friend had this on his 2k Civic SI before His Fiance got the rear end slammed into last week frown

I figured all was ok, but since this was my first time I was a bit Paranoid. My Intake overpowers the Exhaust atm but it Did seem to get louder the longer I drove it around.

I feel better driving to work tomarrow now lol. Thanks smile thumbsup

Only fuckup I did was I tryed for 20minutes to unscrew the wrong end of the 2 bolts lol. then I figured it out smile

BTW Pics here: http://www.falkkor.com/article-celica.htm
Bottom 4 pics are Exhaust about 10min after Installing. can still see my grubby fingerprints all over it lol

yeah bro, as stated above...the smell is the WD40, and I thought my exhaust (invidia) was quiet when I first got it on too, but after you break it in, it gets to be really nice

EDIT: Just noticed I broke 600, which would make me an addict...but I'd rather stay known as an animal...hooray for me though wave grin
