yeah, like i said on the other post, i'm in process of installing the TRD front. i've a set of TRD bodykit. here are the questions.
1. should i keep the stock fog lights where it is and put the round covers on the bumper as described in the directions?

2. or should go to walmart and buy a $40 round fog lights and mount it on the TRD front where it suppose to go? take off the stock lights and cut the wirings and attach it to the aftermarket lights?

3. or should i just keep the stock and add the walmart racing fog lights along with it?

Two sets of fogs is ricer and LAME.

Get the Walmart fogs and put them in the openings of the TRD kit. That looks the best, by far. thumbsup

I'd say go with the walmart fogs. When you cut the stock wiring, be sure to leave about an inch so you can splice them back together if you ever decide to go stock. Also, you have to move the stock fogs in towards the center about an inch or so if you want to use them with the TRD bumper. It's a pain in the butt to do.

Here's a pic of stock VS walmart.

I suggest you if you have TRD front bumper, then you should go with PIAA's fog lamps. They look really nice, and PIAA is definitly better than Walmart one, I dont have camera, I cant show you my car, and I dont have my car now, neither. I had accident last week, my car is still in body shop. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...&PHPSESSID=

I just tied it into the original wiring so the original foglight controls in the car operates them. I'm kinda embarassed since I didn't really pay attention to which wire went where. Just did one to each wire & it worked. I used those little make & female crimp type connectors. The male looks like a little flat piece & the female curls over at the edges. They have a plastic cover on each and seal up when you connect them. I'll take a look next time I have the bumper off (this weekend) and make sure they're connected to the right ones, though they both work fine.

I'm not sure, but when I pull the bumper I'm going to try to put in my MTECH bulbs I had in my stock foglights. At the time I thought the ones that came with it looked alright but I'm going to change them out.

Sorry for whoring up this post. Just trying to help grin

good call, besides the fact that very little of value can be had at wal-mart...

I'd go with the PIAA's anyday

I wouldn't bother with that at all. Cut off the wires for your stock fogs, buy some of those clips you slide over the wire & crimp down. (be sure to buy male and female, & plastic covered) Put the male ends on the lights, the female ends on the stock wiring, plug them in, done. The stock controls on the signal switch will control them. Leave all the wiring that came with the fog lights in the box. grin

Yeah, the walmart fogs fill the holes right up. But the vents are a good solution if you cant find fogs big enough.

Actually, I took out the stock bulbs that came with the lights. Then I was going to put in my MTECH foglight bulbs. While taking out the stock bulbs I screwed one up so into the trash. No bother since I was putting in my MTECH's. During the installation of the first one, POP, I stepped on the second one. MTECH'S into the trash also! (damn) So I ended up putting in the bulbs from my stock toyota foglights (very carefully) and they light up really well!
