Think my ground loacation isnt working out too wekk. I have it between the chasis and bracket in the center of the rear seats and bolted down... think of a better location? Been working fine for about 6 months but is fading out now or cutting off completly.

I put mine under the removable carpet and on one of the bolts for the carpet hooks. (hope you know what I'm talking about) Never cut out or faded

^^^^yeah, that's where I put mine, I unscrewed the carpet hook a bit, wrapped the wire around the screw and tightened it, and that's it, works like a champ!

I hope you have it screwed down somehow?? I'd use the method posted above and make sure if you're using a ring connector that the wires havent come undone from the connector. (basically make sure they didnt get pulled out) also check the connections to make sure nothing has oxidation. from what I've seen those are the only things that couldve happened. Grounds dont magically stop being a ground. good luck

im using the exact same ground that you are doing but i sanded the bolt, and the bracket down where my ground wire touched it.

I went out and snapped a quick pic. I soldered a nice connector on it then covered with electrical tape. Never cuts out.

thansk guys Yes I have a Ring connector and its betwe n the chasis and the bracket iwth the rear seat bolt going through it. GOnna clean up the connector and try it that way
