my mom got in an accident and there is like no engine damage only body damage, the hood is bent like hell, left fender fell off and the front of the body is not aligned, but surprisingly no engine damage at all and the insurance company is saying that the car is a total loss cause to repair is is gonna cost like 5-6k and the van is only worth like 2k (93 plymouth voyager puke ) no now my dad wants me to remove our aftermarket radio which i can do and he wants me to find a way to get the gas out of the tank cause it is full. will getting a tube a sucking it out then letting it drain into a conainer really work? and is it safe to actually get a little gas in your mouth? cause my friend was telling me its just like a stronger bacardi 151. sorry for long story, any advice would help thx. smile

Just put a hose into the gas tank...and suck a bit. Make sure the end your sucking is lower than the other end of the hose in the tank. Its ok to get it in your mouth, just try not to swallow.

Hook a hose from a nozzle to your tank. Was soon as water starts going in, disconnect the hose from the nozzle and it'll start flowing backward out of the hose. It's the same way you drain a huge fish tank.

dude i got one, it works great for steeling gas... you just gotta find older cars, that are missing the tank covers, put it in, pump this black pump, while you hold ur thumb on the "exit hose" then when the gas gets to ur finger let go, its slow going, but its free... by the way the reciving tank has to be lower then the giving tank... i "stole" a couple of gallons from landscaping company who left some 5hp engine tools around

How about just using the drain plug at the back of the tank?
