I love the VS II kit. But $2k just to have it shipped to my door is entirely too pricey for me. I've seen what I'm assuming are imitation kits for 600$. But I'm into the authenticity of it ... I'm torn. After painting and installing the kit, that's an extra few hundred bucks. What's a girl to do? Any ideas? Opinions? Should I just swallow my pride and go cheap? Help!

if you go for a replica you may end up payin the same as an authentic one because of the fitment and adjustment issues

but if your one of the few you will end up with a good replica with good fitment, etc. i guess its up to you and takin that risk

id say go for it $2k is too much for a body kit plus all the paint and installation, and you still have some fitment issues in some cases with authentic kits

unless ur car is for show go for a replica VS 2 kit..

i too was in your situation b4 i bought my kit but its obvious what direction i went to thumbsup
i just wanted the piece of mind that i have an authentic kit and i know it was going to be great quality. i was broke after the kit but iam glad that i bought it anyways. my car is daily driven i have scraped a couple of times but no visible damage, thats where the quality of an authentic kit comes in. if it was a replica i would have probably cracked it in half and then spend even more money to get it fixed. i say go authentic and rest assure youll get good quality thumbsup

as for being expensive i think isaac said it best...

Top manufactures such as Veilside and Kaminari; spend many hours and hours and hours of work on the concept, design, quality production with superb fitment and then advertising of their extremely high quality products.

You would hate to invest $20,000 to $50,000 on a high quality body kit production - and about a week after releasing it, some schmuck duplicates your product for $200 and sells it for fraction of the cost invested into the design & production.

If you were Veilside and saw persons asking for counterfeits of your design and others telling everyone to not support the your dedication to perfection... How much longer would you support that community? You wouldnt. You would stop producing products for the them.

Have you ever wondered why Veilside hasnt already produced a body kit for the 7th Gen Honda Civic, released almost three years ago? - NOW YOU KNOW wave

Save up and buy the Authentic, atleast you'll be able to say, I have REAL Veilside on my car, and it will be Fiberglass instead of Urethane.
If I can save my money, you can do it too!
