So I get in my to go to work today and I turn on my headunit and go to pop in a different CD. thing folds down, the disc comes out like 10% and then get sucked back in. I get a "No Disc Error" I try to eject the disk with the button on the faceplace...Nothing. Any ideas how to fish that out of there?

disconnect car battery... then reconnect it while a friend watches your disc player, ready to grab whatever comes out. ...most new players will eject whatever is currently in the drive whenever hardwired power is removed (or sometimes even re-connected) I hope this works in your situation

I'll give that a try when I get home.
Hope I don't loose my presets...took me MONTHS to set this thing up perfectly.

Hope I don't loose my presets...took me MONTHS to set this thing up perfectly. On the 1999 Lexus GS400 Stereo recall from 2 years back, the technician came to the house with a form - he scanned through the presets, writing down all the radio stations and bas/treble/mid settings... after he swapped out the head units, he took another 2 minutes to re-program everything (even put the clock back to 14 minutes ahead of his watch's time, like how it was right before he disconected everything)

I got it out...
I held down the "open" button for like 1 minute out of PURE rage, and it popped out.

I can picture you sitting there with all sorts of rage and then the thing just pops out and you are stuck there with your jaw dropped and left with the feeling of, "ok - thats done, Uhhhhhhhhh, yeah."

ACtually, I was going to disconnect the batt. and I thought i'd give it another try. Pressed the button, NOTHING. I went COME OUT YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!!!! Popped out and I was like "Gee, thanks! "

I just read this thread yesterday afternoon, and would you beleive it, my friend picked up his civic from the dealership after service, and his cd would not eject!
I had him disconnect the (-) battery, and holy shit, it auto ejected! i cant beleive the timing!
however, now his sub does not work. it was working before disconnecting the battery. the amp powering it is not powering up. i checked all the settings on the deck, the ground wire, fuses, power wire... Its a kenwood excelion deck, mtx amp.
any ideas?
