Found a site with pretty sweet prices... Already got SSBL's and brake pads, now I need rotors. 2 questions:

- I was thinking of slotted however the cross-drilled/slotted combo looks real sweet. Problem is I heard about drilled rotors being susceptible to cracking... Should I be concerned about this or just go with the combo (drilled and slotted)? I'm going with Rotora by the way...

here's a link to the website:

- secondly, the Rotora rotors give 2 options -> GT and GTS... is the difference between the 2 just size because I have a GT and will be getting 17's or 18's, therefore I want a larger rotor and not just an OEM-size replacement. My question is, can I get the GTS rotors and have no problems or are there other differences in the front brakes between GT and GTS like calipers, etc?

1. Get normal rotors. No slots and no holes. Slotted and/or drilled is not a good option. The drilled rotors that you can buy for your Celica and the drilled rotors that come on some high end car are very different. The aftermarket rotors are usually drilled. Literally. As in, someone takes a drill press and makes a bunch of holes in the rotor. That sure sounds safe...

The OEM "drilled" rotors aren't drilled at all. They're cast like that, with the holes. This process doesn't affect the structural integrity of the rotor and keeps it from cracking.

The order of my preference for new rotors would go like this:

OEM
Slotted
Drilled
Drilled/Slotted

Unless you're running your car hard every day and you're experiencing a lot of brake fade, then the OEM rotors will be fine.

2. Get the GT rotors. You can be sure that they will fit, and just because the GTS rotors are bigger, it doesn't mean that they will stop you faster.

I also like Brembo and Stoptech rotors - anyone have experience with either? I'm looking for the best quality and no rusting over time...
