ok I have a 2003 celica and the front and rear stock bumpers seem soo weak! When I was cleaning the hood I accidently hit the front bumper with my leg and it totally shook it up

Is this just with my celica or does anyone else have this problem?

Poly urethane is intended to bend like that... so when you are in a parking lot and drive into a pole, the bumper bends back into shape. Urethane body parts are more durable than fiberglass parts. Because they are made of a rubbery material they can flex and bend without cracking or breaking.

Fiberglass body kit parts, regardless of the quality, can crack or break with a strong enough impact. Please note that this same impact would likely damage a factory bumper or metal body part as well. Fiberglass will crack, metal will dent, and urethane will rip - all of which will need to be repaired. (if you plan on crashing your car alot, you shouldn't modify your car).

after 2 years of driving an SUV, i got a celica. 4 days after i got it, i slid in the snow and hit the curb. it cracked the front lip off the bumper...now there is an ugly crack on my font passenger side bumper..

If you bought your celica within the first 4 years of production, most finance companies require you to have full coverage. It's rare to find a finance company that allow you to only have liability insurance on a brand new car straight from the dealership.

full coverage will take care of replacing your front bumper for you thumbsup
