I went and weighed my car today. I was rather shocked to find out that shes a lil fatty. I had my full track setup except my lighter rims and stuff, cause my dr's blew out and so thats no good. lol

I weigh 182 lbs my car weighed in at 2340 w/ 1/4 tank of gas. that puts me at 2522 lbs race weight.

looks like I have a long way to go to catch the RSX guy that got his down to 2240 race weight and ran a 12.970 with 217 whp rofl
I know how he did it but I'm not about to do that to my car. lol

I'm hopin to still beat that time by late september/early november.

You weigh 182?! You looked skinnier than me when I met you at the meet.

Just stop eating... cut off your roof/windshield/doors/trunk/hood. You'll be right there laughsilly

Maybe he has his interior completely gutted...no rear or passenger seats, no carpet, no sound system, no ac...pretty much an engine with a body & a driver seat.

Dude you can easily beat that weight and still keep AC and all the other cool stuff.

Part Actual Weight
Trial Exhaust 5 pounds
Race Battery 11 pounds
Carbon hood 14 pounds
Carbon Hatch 23 pounds
Rota SubZero's 15" 14 pounds
Sparco Race seats 16 pounds each
Racing Steering wheel No idea
Removeal of extra weight in your car...I am sure you know.

I bet you could get around the 2240 mark easy. I would shoot for 2200. If your not Hard COre...

6'1" and 183 is about right if you're in shape... try being 5'11" / 200 - happywink (muscle weighs more due to its density compared to fat)

- I have no need to worry about my car's weight though... at least not until she gets a Turbo

how will a midget reach the pedals? I guess if it's a drag race he can sit low b/c he doesn't really need to see where he's going.
