I just bought a Mr. Clean Autodry after receiving a $3 coupon in the mail. I bought it at Walgreens for 22.99 - 3.00 so basically it was 20 bucks. I think Kragen has them for 24.99 with a 5 dollar rebate, and Walmart for 19.99. But this thing really works! It makes washing your car easy and fun. The only bad thing about it, is the starter kit only has enough soap for 3 to 5 washes. But check out the picture I attatched of my car after the Mr. Clean Autodry wash. thumbsup

Might work all good on Silver but what about Black or Spec Blue??...Water spots are easier to see on darker color cars.

I keep hearing how good Mr Clean is. Basically, what it does is filter all the hard chemicals out of the hose water- so the water just evaperates. "Water spots" aren't from water- but the crappy chemicals, minerals within. WHat you get is PUREEE h20

Or just be intelligent and not spend $20's at all. Clean your car with a decent handwash. Rinse...but isntead of using an attachment...sheet the water off by the end of the hose with no attachment/fingers. It doesn't leave all the tiny lil beads of water, and the minimal water left on the car can be chammy'd up quicker than hell. thumbsup

MY Car is Carbon Blue. Ive got the Mr Clean Autodry it does work even with the darker colors. Even if it didnt prevent spots (which it does) I makes washing the car much easier.

it works really well, but i found out that if you wash the windsheild with the mr. clean stuff, when it rains real hard for the first few times it'll make it real streaky, and its really hard to drive especially if its raining at night.

I still wanna buy/try it but I don't want to buy this whole kit/thingy and then have to buy the refills...bahhh.

Hand washing has been working good for me.

I do have like $5.00 off coupon, I'll sell it to someone!

Directions specify to wash in the shade. I like sun, cause I can work on my tan. grin I got a kit for my birthday last weekend. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks cool. The handle thing is HUGE. The downside to the deionizer is its a PUR filter. Any of you with PUR water tap filters know it reduces water pressure. But i've heard it works wonders. Can't wait to try it soon.

Didn't work on my BLACK CELICA. So I went back to the old school method of drying. O WELL!

I was told not to buy black (Carbon Blue), did I listen? Waterspots, scratches ... its endless.

I hate to shammy, so I found the only way to avoid the waterspots is to wash it & take it out on the highway. About 80+MPH & the waterdrops fly off.

yeah it works so so, but how about an upclose shot... c when ppl post about this stuff, they always take a far shot...all good and nice... but the proof is in the up close shots... MR C DOES NOT DO A BETTER JOB than a good ol hand wash...and ontop of it, rinsing with that huge bottle with the rinse setting is a PAIN IN THE ASS angry ... its bulky and not perfected yet... they need to revise it... untill then, Ill be hand washing my baby fou shou!!! rice
