i have had my car for almost 3 years now and lately it has been consuming oil like crazy. i have had to replace the bearings 3 times now and it is no longer covered under warranty. i have trd exaust and injen cai and i amalso getting check engine lights all the time. ANY ADVICE?

You're consuming oil because you have the CAI. If you notice that the CAI has 2 or 3 red hoses that connect to the side of the CAI tube. Those three hoses are connected to some sort of oil resevior in the engine. Oil is known to seep through those 2-3 hoses to the CAI and then the oil gets mixed up with the Mass Air flowing through the CAI. To fix this, I would replace those hoses with an item called a breather.

Breathers look like the CAI filter only much much much smaller. You seem them a lot on Honda's and such. Their main purpose is to not allow oil to flow through the intake hoses. These hoses are red if you have the Injen intake and they're the OEM black hoses if you have the AEM.

Using this instead of those hoses will not let oil travel through them and get into your throttle body which seems to be your problem right now.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, BUT WHERE DO I ATTACH THE BREATHERS, THERE ARE 4 HOSES TO CHOOSE FROM? HOW DO I KNOW WHICH ONE/ONES

I bet you could start off by disconnecting all of them and inspecting the insides of them all. Make sure you remember which hose goes where. The one with the oil inside the hose is your best bet to remove and replace with a breather.
