okay...the other day my car just died on me at a stop light. it started right up and was fine until i got to the next light and it started to idle eraticly(spelling) and almost died until i gave it some gas. it seems fine now but still will idle ruff sometimes..anyone have this happen?

clean your MAFS and tighten your throttle cable.

that happened to me when i got the car back from the body shop for the first couple weeks. but after it was alrite

could be few reasons. but the most common toyota problem is what ur explaining. easiest cure for it is clean the MAF sensor, and the throttle body. if this doesnt make anything better (which it should), then you have to change the idle control valve. worst case scenario will be the idle control, fuel pump, or fuel pump relay. but for sure, cleaning ur MAF and ur throttle will solve ur problem
