..my car lost its mint conditions status yesterday...SOME IDIOT(my dad, but he wont admit it..he said it was the garbage man)..put the garbage can RIGHT BEHIND my garage door on teh side. so when i pulled out..the 2 cans got pinned up against the wall with my door and as i drove..it scraaaaaaaatched the side of my car..ah i cant even think about it...but eh..gives me an excuse to re paint the car ..grr cause i cannot leave it like that..my theory is..there is NOTHING worse than i hooked up car with flaws...once it has flaws liek dents scratches chips...even dirt..it looks cheap. i hate driving on the road and seeing a car that would have been nice if the body kit wasnt scratches and bottomed out..and the tint peeling..etc etc. n e wayz..im pissed and felt like sharing. BTW..everyone knows the garbage man DOES NOT bring the can back to the house...they leave it at the curb...grrr. STUPID MR SKOOF!.

I understand the cans weren't where they should be, but were they out of sight or something? How could you not see them. Sorry it happened tho...at least you'll get fresh paint!

they were in the corner up against the wal right by the door..so as i drove out the garage..it got pinned up on the wall..and was held up there and any way i went(fwd or in reverse) the can would still be pinned up against the car scratching it in the direction i drove. frown

All cars are gonna get dings when you drive them...it's part of life. You can't expect to have a daily car & have it flawless...no dings. The real world isn't like that.

rofl My mom took my car out today & she put a nice scratch on my front lip rofl

for real - reminds me of the time I went out of town and left the celi at home. My mom takes it out occasionally and when I get back the whole bottom part of the front bumper is horribly scratched... frown

Well, my dad dropped a gallon of paint on the hood/front left fender of my car!!! Not open, it still had the lid on, but you wanna talk about a "dent" on the hood and fender of all places!!
