in theory, it works. But, not as with many "power increasing mods", it could just be your butt dyno. Hum... Do you think i should get one to try for $40?

yea get one. I have one... don't get red though because the red means "postive" when infact it's a negative/ground charge.
Or you can make it yourself.

30" from negative terminal to the bolt near the intake, under the fuse box bracket.
27" from the negative to the tranny bolt under the battery
14" from the tranny bolt to the engine block. as illustrated in the picture
22" from the right side of the engine block to the left side of the engine block, connect the end to the m10 1.25 bolt
23" from the m10 1.25 bolt to the Power steering reserve bracket bolt. as illustrated in the picture. power steering reserve must be removed from the bracket and moved over to the side inorder to loosen the bolt under it.
