I was snooping around online and found this company in UK thats working on some High Performance cam shafts for the GTS celica VVTL-i engine. Anybody know if there are any avalible now

^^ I went there and only saw a camshaft for the 1zz. Do they make one for the 2zz?

If you have a GTS they already come with like the best cams on the market. You have lift what else more do you want. The stock cams are better then most aftermarket ones.

as far as i know, the only aftermarket camshafts you can find for the celica are for the gt versions..i have yet to find any aftermarket camshafts for the 2zz engine...probably because gts' are too rare to make a profit off of them frown thumbsdown

or too difficult to improve on, and ultimately again not cost effective to design and produce.

ing-ing of japan makes PURE racing cams for the 2zz...they are hellacious amounts of money tho, and then the shipping will rape you. best bet is to get an apexi PFC for $1,000...it lets you manipulate the VVT on our cars (both GT and GTS), and thus generate more power for the 2zz both in and out of lift thumbsup

and also if you don't want to have to yank your camshaft out come smog time if you have to smog.

that could be true, but i do find it difficult to beleive

You wont have to change out cam shafts it smog time if only the the high rpm cam lobes are modified.
