My back left seatbelt isn't working now... I cleaned the inside of my car and noticed the seatbelt had a lot of slack in it so i pulled on it a little and noticed the slack wasn't going away... I figured if i pulled it out all the way it would be fixed... Well, its not and its stuck... I pulled it all the way which locks it so now its locked and i ca'nt get it unlocked... Anything i can do?

I doubt it will be in the shop for a week.

To get my engine replaced they had it on tuesday and were finished friday. The engine did not even get there until later wednesday.

Talk to the people there who run the various mechanic teams. I've got a great guy now who is putting my new volks and mounting the tires on for free when they get here.

Not everybody at the dealership is lazy and a crook. Just have to find the right guy.

it's not really a big problem, remove the back seat plastics and work with the seat belt tensioner, it's prolly just got a twist or needs to be tightened perhaps.

i would get it fixed at the dealer if you still have the warranty, after its up, and if you ever sell the car, that will cause a problem with it not working.

hey, backseat belts not working is a sign.

don't be having any backseat passengers in your car!

celica sport compact? don't be riding four! too cramped and too much weight...

check the tensioner and tongue plate, one of them is probably stuck in the "open" slot.

You also might have unhooked a spring on the tensioner.

hey, just call your dealer and tell them what the problem is first. then give them time to order a new seat belt. then bring in the car and wait like 1 hour for them to put it in. the same thing happened to me last year. and its free.
