Hopefully the people who know more about this will pop in here and answer some of the things I leave out. NOTE: if you attempt to tune the car yourself and blow it up then it sux2bU! I better not see 1 person blaming me for thier own stupidity.I'm just posting what I know just to be nice and to try to get answers for the stuff I dont know. you should not try anything in here if you dont know what you are doing. Also this isnt a working map so dont try to copy the #'s thinking you'll make power :gap: cause I know someone would've tried it.**This is just a start. I will show some logs and stuff later. (gotta start somewhere)** Data logit opening screen... This is the first settings tab. There are 5 total but I dunno what the other ones do so I will not post pics of those tabs. (anyone who knows about those tabs feel free to fill me in.) On this tab you can 1) set the rpm in which lift engages and disengages.. 2) Set the rpm the car idles at 3) Set the knock warning thresh hold. MWR sets thiers at 60 which I think is way too high personally. I personally have mine at 40 and dont reccomend setting it higher then 50. This is where you do all your fuel tuning. **For all the maps the N letters across the top represents RPMS in increments of 500. the P letters going vertical represent the area the engine is referencing as you give it throttle.** (this will make more sense once you see a log) Here is the valve timing map. **there is a lot of power to be made and lost here. but be VERY careful when messing around with this map cause you can send you engine into serious knockin and oEher very bad things**

things to know... 1) never tune without a dyno 2) dont try this if you lack common sense (feel free to double check with friends on this) 3) whether you think you need to or not CLEAN YOUR MAF before you tune. Hopefully we can get Monkeywrench to hop in here and fill us in on some things. My biggest question is the INJ map. I wanna know what the values represent since you can make power from manipulating it but I dont wanna mess with it blindly. and no I'm not gonna get into specifics of how to tune your car since they all vary. I'm just setting up an overview. so I quit getting pms about this stuff.

If you want a good place to start learning about programming the fuel maps, I would pre-order Ben Strader's "Building and Tuning High-Performance Electronic Fuel Injection." You can get it from walmart.com and it's only $15.71 shipped. It is the first and only book that I know of on this topic, expected in late September. First it was due in August but Ben just got married.
I get my kicks on EC.

I think Lucky said earlier that if you lower lift engagement too early you lose a ton of power
Thanks for the write up Lucky, im still trying to find a place that can tune a PFC around here, MN, so there arent too many places. I may have to drive all the way down to MWR.

i have a question, on the general settings window, it says lift engagement\lift disengagement. are you supposed to set the stock lift engagement\disengagement, or can you lower it to your preference? if you are able to adjust it, at what rpm does your lift engage lucky?

yup my lift is experimentally at 5900 and disengages at 5800. wasnt a real power difference though. you dont wanna go too low or you lose lots of power. 6K is a great place for engagement.

I agree, too bad aem doesn't have a PNP kit for the new celi. If you get the AEM UEGO Wideband O2 sensor, then the AEM EMS basically can program itself as far as the fuel curve goes for street driving and good economy...and then you can go in and make adjustments to be more aggressive for racing.
