Any one here have the OBX short shifter. They are on E bay for about 70 plus shifting. Quality.

Buy TWM/TRD/B&M

There is a reason they cost more.

Compare it to the B&M STS. I think between the two you are paying for the name, B&M is more known so they will cost more than OBX. I think the OBX shortens the shift a little bit more.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

You are not paying for the name, you are paying for quality merchandise.

B&M has been making shifters like 50 years or something, they are a racing staple.

while this may be true, if im ordering a part that i dont get to try out, i will splurge for the brand name that has the best and longest reputation.

I think he is thinking about getting this because these SS can be had for $60 bucks or something. Price always forces us to purchase things.

what was so wrong with the shifter that you supposedly drove with ? how do you know it wasn't that transmisson

theres things that i will deffintly not use by obx ,springs cam gears yada yada all that that can directly fail and cause me major proplems a short shifter fails (not really able to fail unless you mess up instal which can happen on any part) means your stranded some where (never heard of a ss braking though)

ive had it since ive had the car makes no noise shortend the trow drastically virtually no play with the bushings it gave me
