So i have 4 days off from work. I've decided to put my spray painting skills to the test by painting my dash.

It's going good! Sanded the shit out of the stock color (back hurts now) Sprayed a dust remover and sprayed first lightest coat then let it dry. Then I used a soft metal spong and made it smoother than a baby's ass. Kept repeating that process.

I worked on it for 3 hours and i am on the 3rd coat, it is begining to take form.

I will be posting a DIY with pics when i am done thumbsup

Sounds great. Can't wait to see it. I hear you can spray the inside of the cap real thick and just paint it on with a brush. That way you don't have to worry about overspray too much. Tape everything! When you're done, go get yourself a back massage. cool

did you take out the dash? or did you leave it in, and mask a lot of shit off?? my friend is thinking about doing his, and we really want to take the dash out, then it can dry easier, not smell up the car, and just me much simpler... but how do we do that??

how are you doing yours?

Its pretty easy to pop out the dash...The bottom part you can jus pop out with no force... the top part has 4 screws you hafta take out the dials out jus by pullin them there are 2 screws underneath the big 2 dials and then 2 on the bottom.. and after those are out that pops out really easy and disconnect the wire goin into the clock and ur good... Ask ppl for some pics that will help...

Lets play that game called I'll light you on fire and I'll piss on you to put you out
