weird. maybe you should have given ur car a second or two before trying to restart it. maybe you were stepping on gas and clutch when restarting, i duno. it would make sense if you made a sudden turn and ur car stalled, but thats not the case.

Nothing wrong with stalling, lol. I stalled plenty of times when I first started driving a stick shift.

yeah i did that recently too.. i stalled at a big intersection where there were exits to a free way, and so i was on a lil slope and i was trying to look "cool" with my music all slumpin and all, plus there was some cute girls in the other lane. Anyways i try to take off and look to the side, then my ass stalls the car out! I was like OMG! what a fucken noob! So i feel hella dumb and my music is loud i am sittin there starting my car cause i stalled it like a dumb ass. Anyways i finally get my baby to turn over and YES i speed off and hit LIFT as i drive off lol thats how gay i looked! Any of you who are reading this I hope you people got a decent laugh at me rofl rofl

Thanks I needed that. grin

BTW, you're being laughed at by a guy who drives auto. I couldn't stall unless I was coasting and threw it in reverse. laughsilly

Haha, yeah, sometimes I miss driving my Auto GT. It was so care free. Now, since I am still a noob in the stick shift world, I get a lil paranoid when stopping on a hill, hahaha.

Stick is the only way in the Celica 7th Gen world. It's as carefree as an auto (Ban the Automatics Club-PM me). Any other person would stall my car because my clutch doesn't fully engage. That's still cheaper and a better fix than a bad auto with no Performance to begin with. It sounds funny to me to even type auto Celica. Anyways, the stall, the quick restart, and the horrible starter "crunch" sound when you realize you are going crazy on your car to get it going and not look like an ass sucks and hurts. I've never done it on my Celica (thank God), but on other cars 10 years my prior I have.
