Keep my car N/A . . . i have I/E and get
1. powerfc
2. light weight flywheel
3. act clutch

or

Go F/I
1. but i wouldn't have money to get powerfc or the flywheel or clutch. . .

i dont really wanan drop all the money into F/I and not get results from it.. . and i thinnk that having a flywheel and clutch and pfc would be ideal to have with f/i. . . .

its either i go F/I and not get those mods and wait a long time to get them. . .

or i stay n/a and get those mods and wait a while to go f/i. ..

which one would be better?

Stay N/A...FI cars are a lot to keep up with. I rebuilt my 03 GT with 11:1 internals to make sure I stayed away from F/I...its pretty strong...and I'm getting ready to get a flywheel and new clutch put in...

So what does a GT do with 11:1 internals?

it does pretty well. I've never drag raced it at the track...but I've done road racing. I had it rebuilt cause I wanted to stay away from F/I, and I wanted an engine that I could drive "sprited" grin grin, and not have to worry about it blowing on me. I've taken a few RSX's, a couple of mustnag V6's, and even a few celicas (never been up against a 6 speed GTS tho...not yet anyway)...its much faster than a stock GT...but as far as numbers go, I've never dynoed it or dragged it smile

1. whats the "best" flywheel.. i've doing reading.. . im just wondering.
2. same with clutch "best". . . im doing reading. .
3. and we all know the best ecu smile

the best clutch as far as durability and holding power is the TRD Japan clutch as far as I know...Illusive and Lucky_317 both have the TRD japan clutch and beat the hell out of their cars with all of their drag racing and launching in lift...a lightened flywheel will let you accelerate faster due to being able to go thru the rev range faster. The stock flywheel is a steel 16 pound piece...Fidanza is the lightest flywheel, and comes as a 7.5 pound aluminum piece...so the best combo I could tell would be the TRD japan clutch set, and the fidanza flywheel

definitely stay n/a Paul - that way you can have more power now with the Apexi unit but still be able to go Turbo later if you feel like it - thumbsup

Definately N/A, especially since you dont have money for PFC or clutch. The stock clutch wouldnt last a month with a Turbo and then you would be up sh*t creek without a paddle. Like someone else said also if you get the PFC, clutch and flywheel now, you will be ready to get a Turbo in the future.

I would wait to go FI until you had the money for a new clutch as it's almost guarnteed to lose it with the higher HP numbers. Almost a given so if you go FI you'll be stuck without a car until they can replace it, because it will go. With a new clutch they could pull the engine for the install which would make the Turbo install easier. (Done at the same time)
