hey you should do the a/c panel, it will look much better. I painted my silver to match the exterior and the light from the symbols still showed bright at night. And you could even get clear computer sticker paper and print replicas of the symbols and stick em on after painting. But otherwise it looks good.

Also you should sand smooth and paint the piece that goes around the gauge cluster so its deep black and glossy to match other pieces.

^^ i agree. you should do the ac panel. some guy on new celica was selling the vinyl overlays for the ac panel (the symbols) if thats what you were worried about. don't know if he's still doing it but its worth it to find out.

other than that, i love it. very nice, clean job thumbsup

What kind of paint is the best to use? Do you need to prep the plastic? Primer?

i heard krylon was good for plastics. I'd use a sandable primer so it's easier to get all the texture off the dash. Just spray a few coats on and sand lightly.
