For anyone who has upgraded their Celica with a Turbo kit, who did you have do the work?
I'd like to get a Turbo, but I'm not familiar with any shops close to me who do that kind of thing. A friend of mine enjoys working on cars and seems confident that he could help me install a Turbo, but I'm hesitant to tear into my car without the utmost confidence in the work that's being done.
Has anyone installed a Turbo kit themselves? How complicated is it, and how long does it take?
A secondary question, if it is reasonable to consider doing it yourself, is it reasonable to assemble a kit yourself, or is it worth the extra money to buy a kit from Stafford Fabrication, DASports, etc.?
Buy the full kit, that way you know everything should work with everything. Second, have it installed. There are so many things that have to be adjusted and whatnot for the Turbo. Third, put some clothes on that poor boy in the corner!
