Stop taking it to toyota take it to a small bodyshop or speedshop. 350 SUPER high for a spring install. Worse comes to worse you can do it yourself just takes time.

I'm doing it myself now, and I recommend that you do it yourself.

No matter how cheap you can get it done for, installing mods yourself will save you money, give you greater knowledge of your car, and really help you out over the years since you can do almost anything by yourself.

And there is no way that you could mess anything up, unless you forget to bolt something, or don't follow the directions.

That's what you have to do. Take them to small body shops, not dealerships.

Dealerships don't give you lube when they ream you up the ass.

No, you're looking at an extra $50 or so.

And one thing no mechanic should be without is Lava soap.

Still too much. Find someone that knows something about cars (a friend or something) that will do it on the side for you for cheaper.

Hell, some people will work for beer.

I watched the end of that on tv.

I thought it was funny how most of them were young, didn't know how to drive, and didn't know how to race, and they gave them Celicas.

Oh the irony.

Any place and I mean any will do the install for around a $100-150. I know Toyota charges around $120 for the alignment also and that's way too much for just springs on your car. So figure install w/alignment from any other shop will cost around $200.

Don't just settle for a flat rate. If they say $200, ask them why it's $200. Spring install should be a 1 hour job at MOST for a good shop with a lift. You're paying $200 an hour for labor. Chew on that...
