...your auto is worth more than the 5-speed GT though so you could do a dealer trade

If you're willing to get another car, throw in some more dough and get something faster.

It never hurts to go by the dealership and look for a used 5 Speed GT. Get something a bit newer because most likely you will have to pay a lil' bit of cash or so. And go from dealership to dealerships.

Sell ur car in the paper on on autotrader. Take money and buy stick. Dont worry bought dealer. If done right you should gain a lil since auto is worth more $.

Yea, I use Craigslist to sell my Focus and I got exactly the amount that I was looking for. Just aim higher then what you are willing to let it go for, and then post in bold "Or Best Offer" Then you deal it down to the right price range. Doing so will make the buyer feel better and the sale will go super smooth because they think YOU are the one doing them a favor.

Then you just go browse for a used Stick Shift GT.

This method is better because you do not have to be stuck with dealerships.

if you have extra cash or willing to do payments, try the dealer and get a gts if you see one in your price range. thumbsup
