Nothing more than just sanding with water on the surface.

You can either spray the surface with a water bottle, or hold it under a sink or faucet while you sand.

Just make sure that you keep it nice and wet.

Hmm I'm still sorta confused...do I wetsand after each layer of clear coat I apply? So basically just spray some water on the clear coat and sand it? How fine does the sand paper have to be ? confused

after you apply the clear coat, let it dry. when it has dried for a couple of minutes, put it under water (like the bath tub faucet) and sand it. thumbsup

Actually, I don't think that you need to wet sand the clear coat. Just gently rub the final paint coat with the finest steel wool that you can find, and then apply the clear coat.

I usually just wet sand right before I apply the final coat of color paint.

Nothing more than sanding while its wet.

Look for the painting guide that was on this site a while ago. I believe Norway constructed it.

Wet sand is going to take out your clear coat and make it smooth.
