Tomorrow (saturday) I have an appointment at 7:30 a.m. to have my resonator behind the cat chopped out. my buddy adam has it done on his GTS and its nice. I'm also gonna order my two replacement wheels on monday, and I should have them by the beginning of September(got run off the road by a bus, story in a different thread)...I'm also doing the air filter mod this weekend. I know its not a huge deal, but getting my wheels back, and having my car a lot louder will make a difference to me(its progress)...just thought I'd share...any one else have their resonator chopped??

yeah, taking out the resonator just makes it louder...taking out the cat would mess up the emissions

yeah, and the noise is what I'm looking for right now. My magnaflow is deep all the way through the top of the powerband, but it could be noisier

I love the way the celi stock exhaust is nice and quiet at bottom end and still can get pretty loud when your goosing on it. That's the way an exhaust system should be IMO.

If you got the power to match, then by all means, that is as long as it doesn't harm your car (which it shouldn't). Me personally, I like sleepers, so I like my car as fast and as quiet as possible.

yeah, I've got enough, and I don't drag or street race, so I'm not worried about having a sleeper
