when I put my car on the lift I noticed there was an oil under my tran on the little plastic part. Could it be the Tran is leakin ? Did I blow the back seal and its actualy engin oil? i'm really at a loss here I don't know what to do .

Take a good look at it, rub it beteen you fingers, paint some on a white piece of paper & smell it. You should be able to easily see the red in it & smell it if its tranny fluid.

ok i'll do it once I get the car back up on the lift , its so low to the ground I can't get under it.

if its a tran leak what do I do and if i've blown a back seal frown

Know what you can do? Take your car back to Toyota. You have a 2003 right? You would be wise to capitalize on the warranty while you can. I wouldn't ask someone here for a diagnosis and possible fix on a transmission problem if I was still under warranty. Take the car in and have them check it and/or fix it. That's all that needs to be said.

I have an 03 GT and my MT leaked out completely and I had to replace my entire tranny... Thank god for warranties. Take it in ASAP!
