My friend got his MR2 painted with Dupont paint and it cost $6000 (even with a big discount). eek

if you have a fairly new celica your not going to want to paint it a different color... lowers the resale value... but if you plan on keeping it and never going to get anything out of it if you ever decided to get another car then go ahead and paint... But in my opinion paint is the most noticable thing on the car.. so your going to want it to look its best, so going cheapest is not the best way to go... Go around town and get some quotes, and also get some word of mouth advice and possibly go to the BBB website to see if the shop has any complaints. IMO the paints got to look good or your car looks like ass..
