check the install section..but here's a trick if you don't wanna disable it permanently. before you start ur engine, raise the hand brake up by only one click, then start your car then the red brake light will light, which means ur low beams will be off and it'll stil be driveable..but i doubt u'd wanna do that every night.
OR you can do what i did and connect the drl wire to a switch..that way you can have em on n off anytime you want. thumbsup

dang RyceCube, you linked the DRL to a switch, wow thats smart. why didnt i think of that, all i did was disabled them PERIOD. im might attach the wires to a switch like yours.

dude, thats a great idea thumbsup thumbsup

thanks, hehe..there IS one downside i must warn you about though..once you flip the switch on (to connect the drl wire) the drls will stay on till you shut down ur motor(even if you flip it back off)..so you won't get THAT much freedom w/ the drls.

you know what, i started that project last year. i had everything needed and was almost done, but there was one major problem.

the LEDs i got were in two different colors. the box from radioshack said that it was blue, yet there were a dark blue and an aqua blue, like yours Mr Celica.

well i got pissed off, not only were there two diff colors, but they didnt seem to light up evenly, when i tested them one by one. it was bullshit.

from what i can see, the LEDs you selected are evenly bright and are the same colors. I need to get my LEDs from someone else, FUCK RADIOSHACK thumbsdown

Hey Zero, heres a GREAT tip: grin
Use EL Neon String instead of LED bulbs, the string is so much brighter and noticeable.
My first project was made with LED bulbs, then I tried EL Neon string and it worked WAAAAAAY better than LEDs, plus you dont have to worry about resistors and stuff.
Heres a limk for more info from SATOSHIS WEB :
http://plaza.umin.ac.jp/~satoshi/mod0E2en.html

He glued the string to the projectors or something, instead of that I used the same rods for the LED bulbs but passed the string through it, 4 times.. kinda hard though.
Anyways, hope this message helps...

feel free to contact me for any tips or advice... spineyes

Where did you get those. Did you DIY or buy a kit. I love those..I've been trying to find some blue ones to go on my celica.
