I'm not a physics major, so does anyone know the formula for determining lateral g's on a skidpad? I want to test my car before I do any suspension work.

They test with sensitive electronics, not math. I'm fairly sure that if a track has a public skidpad, they also have the correct testing equiptment that they will let you use.

I don't think that's entirely correct. I have had some physics experience, and there is a formula to calculate radial acceleration, and the forces at work on an object undergoing centripetal acceleration (Lateral g). I just don't know what it is.
