After much reading on this website - I've learned that the torque/hp of a GT below 6000 RPM is as as good as or better then a GTS or a RSX type S. Before, I thaught that redlining was the best way to use the power, until I tried shifting at or just before 6000 rpm - It feels like the car pulls the whole time, as appose to feeling out of breath near redline. I haven't timed it or anything, but its way more fun to drive, and feels faster..
Anyone else ever try this?

GTS doesn't increase hp and torque until Lift (after 6500 or so)
GT 140 hp @ 6400 RPM 126 lb/ft @ 4200 RPM
GTS 180 hp @ 7600 RPM 130 lb/ft @ 6800 RPM
For the fastest ride, keep your RPMs high when shifting.

yeah, shifting between 5800 - 6200 seems to drop the next gear right into the peak of the torque curve, I've kinda noticed that a little too
