Ok guys, yesterday i got the walmart fog lights and today i began the project. I did everything like the instructions says but, the fogs did not turn on!!! I don't know why.
This fog lights has a wiring kit and shit, and i did everything ok, but i notice that i have power from the switch from the dash to the power relay, 12 volts , but i don't have power from the power relay to the wires that connect the fogs. I have all the grounds connected and also another cable connected to the battery.
Please someone help me wiring the fogs, I have a gt and did't come with fogs so i had to pass the wires through the firewall, which i did not have any problems, just that they don't turn on.
Here is a picture of the fogs i have.

Just a suggestion, maybe try wiring them up using the directions provided but not passing anything through the firewall. Just have the switch loose with the hood open. Then you can work out any bugs, and once you get it all going, unhook the switch and then pass it through the firewall.

Well, i don't think that will help me. I know i pass the correct cables through the firewall.
There is a part in the instructions where it says" The open end of the RED wire should be connected to the low beam (for fog lights) trigger wire which should have a positive (12v) signal when you turn on the vehicle's head light switch. If your vehicle use a negative trigger signal, then you need to connect the RED wire to a swtiched power wire such as parking light or side mark light wire."
That is the only step i did't do, but just for checking i connected that RED wire to the possitve terminal of the battery and still don't work.
Will i have control of the fog lights to turn them on and off if i connect that RED wire to the low beams or if i do that, everytime i turn the car on and the low beams turn on the fog will too??
I don't know what the hell is going wrong man. help me out guys

If you have the red wire hooked up to any power source and the remote wire hooked then you can turn them off and on at will no matter what power source you use. I'd suggest you chekc the ground, make sure it's good.

i have a red cable that goes from a little fuse box that goes to the positive terminal of the battery, and there is another red cable from the switch panel, that is supposed to be connected to the low beams or some power source that is positive, I took that red cable and just to try it out, i put it in the positive terminal and i did't work out.
I don't know what is the problem.

Sounds like nothing is going to a ground. Remember power is a loop. Try going from the fuse box to the engine block.
A really simple setup would be like this. Positive on battery, to switch, to lights, back to a ground (engine block) I think that is the simplest route. If that works then start to get fancy. Not sure at all about the fuses..

This should be pretty easy. ou're switch should have three prongs. Take the red wire- one end to a 12v power, the other end to the switch. Take your white wire (or whatever color it may be) run that to the lights and the other end to your switch. Take your black wire (ground) run one end to the switch the other end to an unpainted piece of metal on you car. Then they should work.
