so lets say ur 3 inches off the ground with 16 inch wheels. when you change them to 17 inch, r you going an inch up to 4 inches off the ground?

do gts rear speakers always sound fucked up or was it just my car? the sound system on the car was weird, so i faded the sound to the front, everything sounded nice. but when i moved it to the back, it sounded like there was no treble, it sounded deep and shitty, like the speakers are fucked up.

well...first off. that would only raise you half an inch since the rim is only half an inch larger from the center both ways. secondly...it would all depend on what tire size you got. i have 17's now and i got a low profile tire and my car sits lower now...just barely.

and as for the speaker thing...i dont know.

Usually when you put bigger rims on, you wanna put thinner rubber to keep the speedometer accurate, in that case it doesn't change your ride height.

The following is an example to help to decode a tire size like 185/65R14
185 = tire width in millimeters, measured from sidewall to sidewall
60 = sidewall ratio, the ratio of sidewall height to tire width
15 = wheel rim diameter in inches
