i paid 41 dollars for it at advacne auto parts. Going to pick it up tommorrow.Good investment or not?? Got any instruction how to install it. I am not a bright kid

Just oil it and drop it in an engine that breathes better runs better.

i know my TRD one is...and i heard the K&N made the TRD ones...

yes, they come factory oiled.. no need to oil it until after being used

I heard they increase airflow so does that mean a better sounding engine aswell, even more sound out the exhaust? thumbsup???????

i think it's a good investment if you're not planning to get a CAI or SRI soon...and i mean soon. lol, i bought a K and N and i loved it...right about the time i got an intake...1.5 months after!! ha,ha,ha..i could've saved 40-50 bucks on mtecs, or some other mods. but i was pretty ignorant back then (well more ignorant then than now...lol) and had i kown i would have held off on getting a drop in. but if that is what you are going to use for a while then it is a good investment because k&n specializes on that and they last forever! thumbsup rice

just my one cent...i'm keeping the other cent for my mods budget rofl

you stock air filter is basically your intake. The K&N replaces the stock air filter inside the intake. If you get a CAI...that replaces the whole unit...meaning no more K&N air filter or big stock box.

instead of having the normal brand's filter...you are using K&N'c cone...but I have never seen it.
