Does it exist? And, if yes, where can i order it?
Also, i once read something about metal bushings for the shifter that would take away all the fiddle in the shiftstick...Does these exist to? And where could i get them?

yes there are 2 short shifters that i know of, TRD and TWM. TRDs arent made anymore, TWMs are what most people seem to get. You could also cut your stock one down to size or throw in a 7th gen shifter.

I have the TWM short shifter and I really enjoy it. it's a 60% decreas in the throw distance so it really does help out for the quickness in your shifting. I havn't been able to try the TRD one yet, but the rest of the TRD stuff around seems to work great... However, they'll charge you an arm and a leg for it.

big thanks for replies! so i guess ill order a twm one then...
And what about these metal bushings ive heard about?
EDIT: It seems there are metal bushings with the short shifter pakage. Correct me if im wrong.

the trd one could be found cheaper online just that it's not a short shifter... it's a quickshifter. It shortens the throw but the stick is higher. I would get a shortshifter from TWM but it just doesn't seem like it's worth the $140+ for it.

well its a lot of money but reading about those babies and seeing that TWM shifter knob made my knees weak...
cant afford em now though...have to wait =/
